Evidence
of Kundalini has been conveyed throughout the science of
Yoga for at least 5000 years, it is only in the last 50
years that masters scholars and erudite from all over
the world have started to pay attention and talk about
it; countless books from many different authors describe
it, explain it and all of them talk about the awakening
of it and the magical powers that come with the arousal,
but very few grasp the essence of this magnificent
divine energy. I will not repeat what has already been
explained and said by some other reputable authors such
as: Gopi Krishna, CW Leadbeather, Sir Arthur Avalon,
Osho, Sri Sivananda and many others. Instead I will take
you on a journey that will show step by step the path to
enlightenment and self-realization, welcome to your
inner journey. In most human beings Kundalini is
dormant; it lies with in the Kunda within the Muladara
(root) chakra. To understand the process of
Enlightenment and Self-Realization, first, we must
understand how our physical and energetic body function.
The physical body it is composed of
glands, nerves, flesh, blood and bones; in the process
of enlightenment and self realization, the nervous
system and the glandular system are of paramount
importance. Enlightenment it is a neurobiological change
in the brain, this neurobiological change re-pattern the
structure and physiology of the brain. Once this process
completes itself, a person finds himself or herself in a
permanent state of enlightenment. This is not
necessarily a mystical state, but simply a state of
experiencing reality as it is, without the limiting
filters and conditioning of the human mind.
Enlightenment is a very natural state, the enlightened
person becomes much more functional, joyful, loving, and
efficient in every aspect of life. Religion has nothing
to do with enlightenment, nor even spirituality. It is a
purely neurobiological phenomenon. Once enlightened,
your guiding light will come from within yourself, and
you will reconnect with the essence within whatever
religion or spiritual tradition you belong to or don’t
belong to. Now, you may ask; how long it will it take me
to become enlightened?
Well, it depends on many factors,
including the state of your chakras and nadis, your
childhood conditioning, and your fears and resistance to
change. Some people have become enlightened in very
little time, some others require a much longer period of
time. But the important thing is that you WILL become
Enlightened, it is your God given birth right. Once
Enlightened you will not be plucked out of the world.
You will continue to live your life, do your work, and
engage in your relationships. As you become more present
with each moment, each ordinary moment will become an
extraordinary experience. You will discover that what
you have called love was simply the survival needs of a
neurotic self. You will begin to experience
unconditional love and limitless joy in all your
relationships, including your relationship with
yourself! Once you become enlightened, you will be no
longer trying to run your life from your limited
perceptions of life and reality. You will find that the
entire universe moves through you. Synchronicities
become a way of life, opportunities will come your way
with seemingly little effort, at this point you just
have to be alert and recognize what God your creator is
sending your way, then life will become spontaneous and
easy. As I said, it is your God given right. Now, let's
begin by understanding and knowing ourselves: The human
body is composed of 108 Chakras and 72,000 Nadis. The
idea of Chakras and Nadis first appeared in the earliest
Upanishads
(7th-8th
century b.c.e.). The concept was developed in the later
Upanishads from 2nd century b.c.e. to the 2nd
century c.e. and later - In the nascent Yoga and Tantric
schools. Out of the 108 Chakras we will learn about 10
of the main Chakras and 3 of the 72,000 Nadis. When
Kundalini is awakened, it rises from the Kunda within
the root chakra call Muladara, her channels of ascension
are the 3 main Nadis: Sushuma, Ida and
Pingala . In it's ascension, Kundalini
pierces each of the seven main Chakras until it reaches
the top of the head. From bottom to top the Chakras are:
Muladara, Svadishtana, Manipura, Anahata,
Vishuda, Ajna and Sahasrara. In it's
rising, Kundalini also activates some other sub chakras
including Lalata which is
responsible for the awakening of spiritual powers as:
Clairvoyance, Clairaudience, Clairsentience and many
other which are call Sidhis.
Kundalini it
is a divine force that lies within all of us, all
religions one way or another affirm that God did create
man at his/her own image. “ Coiled like
a snake at the base of the spine, Kundalini is the
spiritual force that lies dormant in every human being.
Once awakened, often through Meditation and Yoga
practices, it rises up the spine and finds expression in
the form of spiritual knowledge or self realization,
mystical vision, psychic powers, and enlightenment.
